You are welcome to "Who is In and Who is Out" exhibition. It is my hope in particular that this exhibition will cause you to think, to reflect and ask questions about the important issues facing our world. Countries decide who is allowed in and who is kept out. They decide who and what is protected and who and what is left at risk. So, whether it's human trafficking victims in Africa and Asia, the injustice against the indigenous women and girls in North America or our increasingly polluted environment, I hope my exhibition motivates you to explore the world of Who is In and Who is Out, so that we can all contribute to make our world a better place for everyone.  - Yisa Akinbolaji - 2019.

"Explorers" Medium: Acrylic, oil and conte on canvas.

I love mystery more than magic because mystery does not have an answer. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated at the thought of the origin of the universe or the dexterity at which a tiny insect could weave complex silk. Now, my passion for experimentation and knowledge of materials have resulted in my own unique base medium to the advantage of my current creations. Because this new process expresses my playfulness, it is not unusual for viewers to perceive abstraction within the reality that I present until they have arrived at the intended destination with me.   - Yisa Akinbolaji -
